Many telecommunication businesses have become advocates and practitioners of DevOps, the product release method that links developers and operations to ensure rapid release cycles with minimized risk. Yet another use of DevOps for telecoms is offering it as a service. Much like software-as-a-service or infrastructure-as-a-service, DevOps-as-a-service can be deployed by telecoms that are well-positioned and internal proponents of the strategy.
